Adam perished tragically on 4th April 2011 in an Aspen Highlands Back-country avalanche, leaving behind a loving family, hundreds of close friends, and this stunning collection of sports and nature-oriented photography. A resident of the Roaring Fork Valley for fourteen years, Adam was never more at home than in the outdoors, and his spirit is very much still present on the slopes and peaks of Aspen.
Mountain Rescue Aspen dedicated January 2012's three-day avalanche awareness program to Adam, and exists to perform back-country rescues and provide education and safety training in the valley. This site contains the "Best of RAD" images ... The result of many hours meticulously organizing, categorizing, and in some cases enhancing the contents of hard drives and shoe boxes full of slides.
